Family Archive Co.
Most families have thousands of photos and videos scattered across phones, old computers, hard drives, memory cards, and boxes of prints.
Childhood photos.
Family vacations.
Videos of birthdays and holidays.
Images of people who may no longer be here.
Over time, those memories become harder to access, harder to organize, and sometimes at risk of being lost entirely.
But without a clear system, those memories often end up scattered across devices and storage platforms.
Family Archive Co. exists to bring those memories back into view — and create a system that protects them for the future because the value of these photos and videos only grows with time.
Hi, I’m Courtney — the founder of Family Archive Co.
I’ve always been the person who keeps the photos.
In every group of friends, on every family vacation, I’m the one documenting the moments — taking the pictures, saving the videos, and making sure they don’t disappear into old phones or forgotten folders.
But in 2019, I had a moment that made me realize just how fragile our memories can be.
My husband and I got married in a private ceremony with just our parents. A family member recorded a video of the moment on my phone — something simple, but incredibly meaningful to me. A year later, when I upgraded to a new phone, I thought the video was gone. My iCloud backup hadn’t been set up properly, and for a while, I believed I had lost that memory forever.
Thankfully, I eventually discovered the video had been saved to another cloud service. But during that process, I realized something unsettling: some photos and videos from that time actually were gone.
That experience stayed with me.
So I started organizing my family’s photos and videos into one cloud service. I digitized boxes of prints, converted old home videos, and built a system to preserve everything — not just from my childhood, but from my parents’ and grandparents’ childhoods too.
What began as organizing my own family’s history turned into something bigger: helping other families preserve theirs.
Family Archive Co. exists to help families transform messy, overwhelming photo collections into organized, searchable digital archives.
